Android App of the Day – Publo

We love our smartphones. They help us do everything from navigating to the nearest bodega to settling bets over which Tom Cruise movie was released in ’94 (it wasn’t Mission Impossible). More important, though, they assist with the best part of the day: meal time. There are gastronomic apps to cover breakfast, lunch, and dinner, plus every amuse-bouche, munchie, midnight snack, and dessert.

What is Publo?

If you’re the type that’d rather let someone else do the cooking, there are countless apps that will point you in the direction of the best local restaurants and delivery joints. One of our favorite apps in the “Food & Drink” section on the Android platform is Publo. It is created by Groupify, designed with smooth user interface and it works on both phones and tablets.

With the app you can read all kinds of tips and reviews written by real people from all over the globe – there are no paid reviews from businesses and no negative ones as well. You can also add pubs, rate places, have a lifelog of places you’ve visited, add to your favorites anything you like, keep a whole history of the places you’ve been and find exactly what you need in no time.
