We took a look at some of the best hiking apps available for outdoor trip planning, navigation, first aid and survival. One app that we found in our research, and an app that we think can be of great help, is HikerzPal. This app tends to provide all the needed information about your hiking, in a convenient, easy to use interface and in an interface that is battery friendly and light.
Another thing that the app guarantees is the accuracy. Expect accurate information on the longitude, latitude, height and address. There are several 3d views available: satellite, hybrid and map view.
The app can be used live as there is compass integrated within it. Besides the compass, HikerzPal will track every step you make with the app turned on. It is an offline GPS location app, which means you only need GPS to use it. If you hike frequently it can record your hikes and vastly improve them with the great amount of info it provides.
