Web App of the Day – Optimal Access
Friday, February 19, 2016
Mozilla Firefox is the second most used web browser nowadays.
However, even though it is a neat and fast browser, with the use of proper and quality apps in the forms of extensions you
can make the most of it and increase your productivity and enjoyment of using. Our today’s
recommendation for web app or extension of the day is the app called Optimal
Access, app that will help you create and manage tabs in one window. Let’s see how you can benefit from it.
After you install it on your browser (you can use it on any
type of computer), this app will enable you to organize your web browsing
experience. This means that Optimal Access will organize the type of websites
you view and categorize them as you wish. One common organization of websites
would be News Websites, Social Media Websites, Sport Websites, Technology
Websites etc. This can be adjusted and customized according to your interest.
Optimal Access will
memorize all of the sets of tabs. They are located on the right side. So, when
you click the News Websites tab, the browser will open the news websites you’ve
selected (New York Times, CNN, BBC etc). All websites are opened in new tabs
and to view the website content you can just go through the tabs. Another neat
feature is that you can temporarily open the links you want to open just dragging
the titles to the bottom of the browser. So, you can easily go through the
websites and drag all of the content you are interested in at the bottom to
view it later.
With Optimal Access everything is easy to manage, safe and organized,
because it stores the tabs in folders, and extremely easy to access. This free
app is available as an extension and you can download it here and install it on your
Firefox browser. Check out the video bellow to get visual picture of the
Optimal Access’s features.
