TripCompanion is an iOS travel app with a great idea. Let’s say you have a family member or friend that is old and needs care while traveling. It doesn’t have to be medical care, just care for adults that are unsafe traveling by themselves. Well, TripCompanion will help you in such cases. It will help you find a person that is on that particular flight.
After you arrange the care, you need to compensate that person for a pre-arranged flat fee (e.g. $100). The user needs to have an account in the app. It is a peer-to-peer app that connects air travelers that need non-medical assistance and it is a pretty functional one!
Using the app is really easy and you can find and contact users easily. Some of the uses of Trip companion can be following: airport navigation, native language communication assistance, companionship in the flight, escorting travelers to certain gates, communicating with family during layovers etc.
The uses of the app are countless and the great thing is that the app is free. You can get it on the app store and use it either as a person who needs a companion or who offers to be a companion for others.
