App of the Day – Weather Pod: Live Conditions, Forecast and Storm Alerts

Today our app of the day is the compelling, lovely and beautiful weather app called: Weather Pod:  Live Conditions, Forecast and Storm Alerts. Besides the standard information about the weather forecast there are some great additional features and the app is packed with really neat, tasteful and excellent design. The UI is intuitive and the app is fast and basically flawless.

I’ve used this app for the last week or so and I can say that it gives great and correct weather forecast, even though I live in unpopular and relatively unknown place. I can only imagine the accuracy this app has in the bigger and more popular cities. The effects and the background change with amazing effects based on the weather conditions.

Everything is simple, but yet useful. There is great amount of weather information and Weather Pod basically has all the features that any high quality weather app should have. It is available on iPhone 4 or later as it requires iOS 6.0 or later. It looks stunning on the iPad!
