Friday, January 3, 2014
MooMle – Text from your email is a new communication and texting app that was recently published on Google Play. It is a free, simple and useful app that will enable you to send and receive SMS messages from, or to your email client. It can be used on any popular email client and even on webmail. This can be really useful in situations when you want to write longer SMS messages or if you send/receive SMS messages frequently.
How to Install and Use it
After you install it, you need to make an account and register your mobile phone number. Note that during the registration the app will auto-send an SMS from your phone in order to verify your number. After that you can start using MooMle to receive SMS messages to your email.
Every SMS that you receive on your email will be in the next form [sender’s number]@moomle.biz. If you click reply on the email message, then your smartphone will sent the SMS to the recipient’s phone. It is a simple as that.
Of course, you can send new SMS message from your email with simply composing a new message and adding recipient’s number in front of @moomle.biz in the form that we mentioned earlier. Another thing you should know is that if both the sender and the recipient have installed MooMle on their smartphones, the messages will be free. This can save you money if you are communicating with someone very often.
Only for Handcent and GO SMS Pro users
Before installing the users of Handcent SMS should go to Settings>Application settings>Default Messaging application and set “Disable”. The users of GO SMS should go to Settings(Advanced)>Other settings and uncheck “Disable other message notification”.
