Thursday, September 12, 2013
It is funny and unfair how this very useful and outstanding
app has only 1.6k reviews and around 50k downloads. PushBullet is a
productivity app which will help you to send notes, lists, files, addresses or
links to your smartphone or tablet, from your computer. The sending is very
fast and the app is extremely light (only 838KB), simple and fast.
How to start using it
After you install it there are instruction if you tap on to
“What do I do?”. You’ll need to go to www.pushbullet.com
and sign up with the same Google account. That’s it. Then you can start sending
files like photos, videos, music, PDF files etc. to your devices (you can add
multiple devices), or you can use it to send links, which you can view later on
your phone or tablet. You can also create grocery lists, notes or send
addresses to your smartphone.
One of the other cool features that this app has is the
ability to add more devices from different PushBullet accounts, with which you
can share the same things. For example, if you add your girlfriends, or your
friends account, you can simply just push files, lists, notes etc. to her/his
device. You can add devices if you click share on your menu at pushbullet.com.
The app also has the ability to push links from your
smartphone or tablet, to any other of your devices. So, you can just simply
sent a link from your smartphone to your friend’s tablet for example.
Chrome and Mozilla Firefox extensions
The app also has Chrome
and MozillaFirefox extensions. After you add them to your browser, you can easily and
directly send links to your smartphone or tablet.
