WhatsApp now supports voice messages
Wednesday, August 7, 2013
Intellectuapp already included WhatsApp in the best messaging apps list and we declare it as a pure winner. One of our favorite apps recently announced that it has over 300 million worldwide users. Now, WhatsApp handles over 31 billion messages, 4 billion more than in June when they achieved the daily record.
According to Jan Koum, the co-founder and CEO, WhatsApp users share more than 325 million photos daily. So, WhatsApp is already extremely useful for its users. It saves a lot of money and it has tons of useful features. But, they wanted to improve, what is already perfect, and they did perfectly fine with their newest addition. From today you will be able to send voice messages.
We know that other apps already have this feature and Facebook has it as well. But, with WhatsApp you will send voice messages much faster and easier. All you need to do is to hold the microphone in the chat box, and when you finish your message just release an the message will be sent. If you decide not to sent, just tap to left and the message will be deleted.
The update will be done in the next 24 hours and it will be available for all platforms. Great job guys!
