DSLR Controller enables connecting an Android
phone or tablet with a camera which has DSLR support. The app will enable to manage the screen of your camera on your Android device, that is not only larger, but also with better quality. Besides the connectivity, the app makes taking of numerous photos in longer period of time very easy, there is also improved HDR support and the possibility of
instant sharing of the photos on the social networks.
To use DSLR Controller, despite Android device, you will need USB-on-the-Go adapter. At least for now the application is best made for Canon
cameras with DSLR, although on Google Play you can find similar applications for
multiple camera manufacturers. Nikon camera owners can try DslrDashboard
which is completely free.
The application costs $8 and USB-on-the-Go adapter costs a few dollars, which compared with the money payed for a quality camera and a smartphone or
tablet is nothing. DSLR Controller is now in beta stage, and according
to the announcements, when the beta test will be finished the app will be more expensive, but the upgrade will
be free for owners of this beta version.
