Sports Tracker
Sports Tracker is another great workout tracker. This
reliable and quality app will enable you to track your workouts and get stats
about the distance, time, pace, calories and your routes. Also there are
diaries in which you can register and check out your finished workouts, see the
workouts and routes of your friends and share any workout on the social media. The
maps are very precise and there are distance and time calculators as well.

Map My Run
Map My Run is maybe the best looking and the most user
friendly app on this list. The workouts are easy to edit and everything is
simple and easy to understand. The app will count your miles, pace, speed and
calories burned, but there is also the nutrition feature, routes nearby and
interestingly you can compete with others and see your overall rank on popular
local runs and rides.

Endomondo Sports Tracker
Endomondo Sports Tracker is basically the simplest sports
tracker on this list. The sign up is fast and the whole app has one page. From
there you can go to your news feed, history, routes, challenges, friends and
settings, or go through your music (synced with Google Music) and audio
settings. One interesting feature this app has is the pep talk from friends. So
basically any friend can write text message to the website and this message
will be read out loud to you later. But, if you want info about speed, heart
rate and altitude graphs then you’ll have to upgrade to pro.
Run Keeper
Run Keeper is a standard, good looking and quality sports
tracker app. You can record various sports activities using the GPS of your
phone. Also, you can easily set goals or personal records to motivate yourself,
and interact, or compete, with friends. I have to admit that the app is a bit
lag-ish at times, though.

Nike+ Running
The developers of this app should’ve definitely implemented a shorter
sign up. This one is long, exhausting and boring. Nevertheless, the app is more
than solid. It has all the needed features of a quality tracking app. Some
interesting features, other than the standard tracking features, are the
PowerSongs (in app player to give yourself a boost with one tap) and the in-ear
cheers from your friends after you share your workout on Facebook.

Strava RUN
Strava Run is not as popular as the previous apps, but it is
surely as quality as them. It has all of their features, and there are interesting
challenges to keep you motivated. There are leaderboards on certain roads and
you can compare your times to others that run the same track. You can interact
with your friends that are using the app, get look of the map while you are
recording and find places to run in your city.
