AirDroid 2 is here and it is even better

Definitely one of the most useful and best Android applications, AirDroid, has become even better. For those who don’t know, AirDroid is an application that enables you to: control almost all functions via your web browser, install/uninstall applications, edit files, capture screen and much more without using a USB cable.

AirDroid 2 is finally available on Google Play after a few months in beta and it brings a lot of useful functions. Among other things, you can locate your device if you lose it, you can take pictures with the camera on the device, and there are various bug fixes and easier sending or receiving of SMS messages via web interface.

To connect your device via the web, the device should be connected to the same Wi-Fi network as your laptop / computer, but now even that is not necessary because the device can be connected if you're on an ordinary mobile internet. To make it work you need to create AirDroid account and login into it on your Android smartphone. After that you will never need the USB cable.

However there is one little flaw, if you use AirDroid via mobile networks you limited 1GB of traffic monthly, but if you are connected to the same Wi-Fi there is no limit.
