Adobe Photoshop Touch now available on Android

Wednesday, February 27, 2013

Adobe announced that Android and iPhone users will now be able to edit images with Photoshop Touch, directly through their phones. The app will cost $5. This application has the basic functions of Photoshop and is already available for iPad for about $10.

Photoshop Touch has all the necessary features such as crop, retouching, allowing you to use layers (layers), brushes and effects ... It has the basic features as the desktop version, but it is limited because the processing power of mobile devices limits the software. For example, the most you can open is a 12-megapixel image with three layers. Adobe has added Scribble selection option for touch screens that facilitates the use of the fingers for selecting, dragging or cropping. Additionally, there is the Camera Fill feature that uses the camera of the smartphones to shoot and instantly edit the image.

The application is synced with Adobe Creative Cloud platform that enables you to transfer pictures in the cloud, or other devices.
