Dashlane – Manage your personal information in an easy way
Thursday, April 18, 2013
Praised by PC Mag, Tech Crunch and Android Police, Dashlane
is one of the best password and private information vaults. We are about to do
review on their Android app that is free and available on Google Play.
Dashlane will enable you to store all of your password and
usernames from various sites. This is very useful, if you, like myself, visit
many forums, websites that require sign in, buy things online or have multiple
emails.
Everything is controlled by a master password which is
encrypted and secured so nobody can access it (even Dashlane).
You’ll need to
enter the master password every time you open Dashlane app. Also, make sure you
remember it, because you can’t retrieve it. Another option is to enter secure
pin to enter Dashlane, which probably will be more productive thing to do if
you open the app often.
UI is top quality. It’s so simple to add information and
everything is so concise. Thus, organizing your personal data using Dashlane is
easy. Not only usernames and passwords, but storing your personal information
like addresses, phone numbers, payment information, credit card numbers, has
never been easier.
Another cool feature of the app are the Secure Notes in
which you can add any other personal information different from usernames and
passwords that you want to be secured and remembered. You can give tittle, add
different color and put the notes in different categories.
Talking to a developer working in the Dashlane headquarters located in Paris, he told me that they are working on a tablet version of the app
which will be released in the next few weeks. Also, they will release Dashline v2.0 in the next few weeks, which will offer landscape view of the app.
